KL 15 เป็นลำโพงแอคทีฟแบบ 2 ทาง (2-way active speaker) ที่มาพร้อมกับวูฟเฟอร์ขนาด 15 นิ้ว และไดรเวอร์คอมเพรสชันขนาด 1 นิ้ว (ขดลวดเสียงขนาด 1.35 นิ้ว)
ระบบขับเคลื่อนด้วยแอมป์กำลังสูงและมีประสิทธิภาพขนาด 800 วัตต์ ซึ่งใช้การประมวลผล DSP ขั้นสูงของ dBTechnologies พร้อมฟิลเตอร์แบบ Linear Phase FIR ที่ช่วยให้เสียงที่ได้มีความชัดเจน สมดุล และสม่ำเสมอในทุกมุมของพื้นที่รับฟัง

ตัวตู้ลำโพงมีช่องอินพุต 3 ช่อง โดยสามารถควบคุมระดับเสียงได้อย่างอิสระในแต่ละช่อง:

มีช่อง XLR-M Output แบบบาลานซ์ สำหรับเชื่อมต่อกับลำโพงอีกตัวหรือมิกเซอร์ โดยมีสวิตช์เลื่อนเพื่อเลือกการส่งสัญญาณ:
- LINK: ส่งสัญญาณก่อนการควบคุมระดับเสียง
- MIX: ส่งสัญญาณตามการควบคุมระดับเสียงของแต่ละช่องและเสียงหลัก (Main)
ตัวตู้ลำโพงออกแบบให้แข็งแรง ทนทาน พร้อมดีไซน์หน้ากากเหล็กเต็มแผ่นที่ดูทันสมัย ช่วยเพิ่มความสะดวกในการพกพาด้วยหูหิ้ว 3 จุด (ด้านข้าง 1 จุด และด้านบน 1 จุด) และใช้งานได้หลากหลาย:
- ใช้งานเป็นมอนิเตอร์วางนอนได้ทั้งสองด้าน
- มีช่องเสียบขาตั้งพร้อมมุมเอียง 2 แบบ (0° และ 7.5°) สำหรับใช้งานกับขาตั้งหรือวางซ้อนบนซับวูฟเฟอร์ของ dBTechnologies
ความพิเศษของซีรี่ย์นี้คือรองรับ Bluetooth และ มี Presets ให้ถึง 4 โหมด ให้เลือกปรับกันตามสถานการณ์ คือ
- Playback โหมดที่ใช้เปิดเพลง, เล่นเพลงปกติทั่วไป
- Flat โหมดปกติที่ไม่ได้มีการปรับแต่งเสียง
- Bass Boost เพิ่มความหนักแน่นของเสียงเบส
- Wedge โหมดนี้สำหรับการใช้งานเป็น Stage Monitor

KL series aims to enhance usability and versatility in dBTechnologies’ 2-way active speaker series: combining efficiency to a professional sound performance, KL systems feature Bluetooth® connection, 3 INPUT channels, impressive SPLs and a powerful DSP where linear phase FIR filters ensure the most accurate sound reproduction.
The KL family consists of 3 models, each equipped with 10", 12" and 15" woofers and 1" compression driver (1" voice coil for KL10 and 1.35 voice coil for KL 12 and 15).
The system is driven by a powerful and efficient amplifier (400 W for KL 10 and 800 W for KL 12 and 15) with dBTechnologies' advanced DSP.
The system's FIR filters ensure a coherent audio performance that is consistent and crystal clear from any listening position. In addition, the user can make acoustic adjustments to the sound situation using presets.
All speakers have 3 input channels with independent level control:
CH 1 is a balanced combination of XLR/6.3 mm jack/microphone input with a switch for source selection;
CH 2 is a balanced XLR and TRS jack IN;
CH 3 allows connection to an external player via Bluetooth®.
A balanced XLR-M output allows connection to a second speaker or mixer. It can be selected which signal is sent to the main output: LINK (the signal is recorded before each level control) MIX (the signal is determined by the level control of each channel and Main).
The solid and versatile KL Series speakers feature a clear and contemporary full-grid design that enhances both portability through integrated handles (1x on the side and 1x on top) and multifunctionality: each speaker can be used horizontally as a stage monitor (on both sides) and has a tripod mount with 2 tilt angle options (0° and 7.5°) to operate KLauf tripod or stacked on dBTechnologies subs.
